A small studio, named after a small bird.
Nuthatch Networks LLC is a boutique software studio founded on the belief that small teams build the best products. We don't scale for the sake of scaling — we scale for the sake of the project.
We build mobile apps and websites with an emphasis on longevity: interfaces that feel native to the platforms they run on, and codebases we're happy to open a year from now.
Why the white-breasted nuthatch?
The white-breasted nuthatch is the only North American bird that routinely walks headfirst down a tree. It sees things the birds walking up miss.
It's small, it's precise, it grips well, and it has a slate-blue back, a bright white breast, and a rust-colored underside — the palette you see across this site.
We think that's a decent metaphor for the way small software studios can work: approach the problem from an angle the big teams overlooked, and hold on tight.
